We are in Galveston at our favorite RV park, Dellanera. We drove down on Saturday and had a safe and uneventful trip down. After setting up the motorhome, we went to Galveston Island Brewing, Taco Cabana, and to the Grand Opera House to see, Amazing Grace. Amazing Grace was a wonderful musical about John Newton and his life. My favorite part of the play (and there were many wonderful parts) was when the cast and the audience joined in singing "Amazing Grace." It was a wonderful experience and made me grasp the context of the song!! Tom is not a musical lover, but he really enjoyed this play. It was well done, and we were so glad we took the time to experience it!!
Our days in Galveston are always relaxed and fun!! We love walking the beach and just relaxing. This trip we have read our books, gone to lunch, relaxed, relaxed, relaxed!!
